Robert Paul Drake (born May 24, 1969) is an umpire in Major League Baseball. He wears number 30.[1][2]

Drake was born in Indiana, Pennsylvania, and has worked in both Major Leagues since umpiring his first MLB game on September 3, 1999.[1] Drake had previously worked in the Northwest, Midwest, Eastern, California and Pacific Coast leagues before reaching the MLB. [2] Drake has also umpired winter baseball in the Dominican Republic, and worked during the inaugural World Baseball Classic in 2006.

Drake formerly administered TheUmpireLife.com, a website in which Drake openly would share with other, generally non-MLB or MiLB umpires a glimpse at his journey through the minor leagues and into his then-status as a AAA fill-in, call-up umpire, while working the PCL. The website was ultimately taken down as Drake's promotion to the full-time MLB staff became a serious possibility.
